Traffic mash-up
Some days ago I friend told me about the new super-cool mash-up by the City Council of Oviedo. They have mixed Google Maps with real-time road traffic and monitoring cameras. The result is an eye-candy and highly customizable application that is available at the Council web site. Wow, when I first saw it, I was proud of my city! That's a really useful and clever usage of the information and the web. But... I quickly discovered it doesn't work in any browser other than Internet Explorer. Oh, no! I hope they will fix this soon. UPDATE (12/Nov/07): apparently, they fixed the application and now it works with Firefox and other browsers. See it in action. Great stuff.
